Salary: $16.50-$18 / hour

Job Description:

This is a school-based program. Working school day hours as a treatment room monitor, assisting in treatment room management and providing intensive behavior and mental health support including applying identified therapeutic interventions in the treatment rooms.

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Provide behavioral backup in school setting and crisis intervention.
• Provide necessary support to Bethesda youth in treatment room setting.
• Liaison between Bethesda Lutheran Services and involved outside agencies, schools, parents, etc.
• Documentation of relevant information.
• Plan and implement therapeutic groups as designated.
• Assist with scheduling and planning as needed.
• Work in conjunction with other staff to form efficient, effective, and cohesive team.
• Counseling, therapeutic interventions.

Required Education, Experience and Clearances:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
• A High School Diploma combined with agency approved additional trainings as outlined in the program service description. 
• Experience working with children and adolescents in the mental health field preferred.
• Knowledge of CASSP and special education principles.
• FBI, Child Abuse History, PA State Police, and Driver Clearances. Other clearances may be required dependent on residency status
