How do I get my child into Bethesda?

Bethesda Lutheran Services works collaboratively with the Department of Human Services at the local and state levels, local school districts, and other social service agencies to fulfill our mission of serving children, youth, and families.

If you have a child in need please contact your local Department of Human Services. 
If you have a child in crisis please contact 911.

What are your visiting hours?

Visits can be arranged by calling the unit supervisor. If you do not know the unit supervisor's extension number, please call (814) 724-7510 ext. 221. All visitors must be on an approved visitation list and must arrange the visit 72 hours in advance. 

What is the staff to client ratio?

While the DPW regulations require a staff to client ratio of 1:8; Bethesda Lutheran Services strives to maintain a ratio of 1:5.
