Job Summary:
Provides direct supervision for youth within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) setting ensuring their safety and maintaining a therapeutic environment and care. This position will seek to ensure trauma-informed care and the creation and maintenance of a trauma-informed environment on the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility unit.
Essential Functions of the Position:
1. Implement individualized behavior and treatment plans developed by the Mental Health Professional.
2. Provide direct supervision of youth intervening as necessary to ensure a safe environment.
3. Group planning and facilitation
4. Supervise family visitation as needed.
5. Liaison between educational program and residential unit staff.
6. Supervision during recreation and outings, to include modeling and processing of appropriate social interactions.
7. Participate in supervision with supervisor and psychiatrist.
8. Maintenance of file databases.
9. Documentation of relevant information.
10. Work in conjunction with other staff to form efficient, effective, and cohesive team.
11. Counseling, therapeutic interventions.
12. Supervise client self administration of medication.
13. Assists with campus coverage as needed.
Salary: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour based on experience.

Schedule:
- 2nd shift, 3rd shift also available
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services related field preferred
- High School Diploma required
Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in mental health and/or adolescent field preferred
