Job Summary:


Assist the Third Shift Supervisor to maintain the third shift operations, administrative functions, and overall supervision of all Residential Specialized Settings and the PRTF. This position will seek to ensure trauma-informed care and the creation and maintenance of a trauma-informed environment in the Specialized Settings and PRTF.


Essential Functions of the Position:

1. Assist in the supervision of staff including, hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management.

2. Oversee all unit documentation to assure accuracy.

3. Assist the supervisor in the development and oversight of the staff work schedule.

4. Assist with coverage as needed to ensure ratios are met.

5. Participate in on-call schedule as assigned.

6. Enforce Bethesda Lutheran Services policies and procedures that pertain to overall unit management.

7. Ensure youth needs are met.

8. Communicate with outside agencies, families, and other professionals on a regular basis.

9. Be available on an on-call basis for emergency consultation, crisis intervention, & behavior management backup.

10. Make decisions regarding consequences/behavior management of youth.

11. Assist the supervisor in the medication management including counting, ordering, and dispensing of medications.

12. Assist the supervisor in maintaining accuracy of youth charts & retrieving missing youth documentation on all residential units/group homes.
